Kettle Country Treasure Map

Kettle Country Treasure Map is a compilation of stories from the Panorama Prospector, newsletter of the Panorama Gem and Mineral Club.   This collection includes pictures and stories about field trips to mines and rock collecting sites throughout Northeast Washington.  The pictures and stories tell what to expect and how to get to the site.  A map is usually included.  Northeast Washington may be the most diverse geologic area in North America.  We have thousands of old mines, mostly abandoned.  The waste piles and surrounding outcrops offer a wide variety of collectable crystals, metals, fossils, semi-precious stones and fluorescent rocks.
